We have over 25 years experience in recruiting staff at all levels and have first hand experience working within family office set-ups.  Once we establish a relationship with our clients we ensure that we meet their expectations and deliver results.  We mainly search for and approach candidates directly and do not actively advertise positions due to the sensitive and confidential nature of what we do.  When we do approach candidates we do so because we believe they fit the profile of our clients needs and that the position we offer is a unique opportunity both financially and career-wise.

William Van Buren

Founder and Chief Executive Officer
William Van Buren founded WVB CONNECT in 2017. William is a qualified accountant and has over 25 years experience in various managerial positions, as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer across Europe, the South African Region and the Middle East. Mainly within Investment banking and Family Offices and has dealt with UHNW clients and employers. In these roles William has managed and set up HR departments, selected and negotiated terms with recruiters and sourced, interviewed and placed candidates at all levels.  William has also worked alongside various internationally accredited HR Consulting firms and has been involved in the drafting of HR policies, succession plans, performance appraisal structures, performance schemes, job descriptions, organisational structures, grading and re-grading exercises.
